Over the past 20 years, Fiber Dynamics, Inc. has developed three distinct Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) process capabilities to address the needs of customers.

Conventional Matched-Die Resin Transfer Molding (RTM) Process

• For complex, lightweight cored and solid laminate structures
• Economical, high volume production capability
• Excellent surface finish and structural properties
• Out-of-autoclave process lowers cost for the client

Vacuum-Assisted Resin Transfer Molding Process (VARTM)

• Autoclave quality parts at a fraction of the cost
• Outstanding surface finish, minimal finishing required for paint prep
• Use integral stiffeners and cores when extra stiffness with minimal weight is required

Lost Core Resin Transfer Molding Process (LCRTM)

• Enables manufacturing of complex, hollow interior cavities with internal stiffeners
• Offers intricate assemblies involving metal details, inserts and internal stiffeners with no secondary bonding or fastening thus enabling fabrication of integrated / co-molded structures
• High fiber volume composite geometries
• Superior control of wall thickness in critical thin-wall applications
• Proprietary manufacturing process
